The All New LPPS Apron

High fives are all around with our personalised Legend Park Preschool apron!

This practical and keepsake memento features your child’s name and handprints.

The children have each made their handprints with the educators during kinder which we use to make the aprons.

The 100% cotton adult-sized aprons are one size fits most.

Each apron is $20 and can be ordered via our web store, or here directly. Payment is by PayPal or you can pop the money in an envelope and hand it to the educators.

These aprons make a handy and unique gift to mum, dad, grandparents and family friends!!!

Legend Park Preschool is teaming up with Scholastic Book Club. All kids love a good story, it helps them learn about the world around them, stimulates their imagination, helps their ability to focus, to concentrate, and develops their social skills and communication skills. You’ll find award-winning books and bestsellers, as well as old and new favourites.

It is easy to order. The Book Club Loop platform for parents allows you to order your books online, link it to Legend Park Preschool and the books will be delivered to the Preschool.

By purchasing books from Scholastic a percentage of the total order spend will be given to Legend Park to spend on an extensive range of books and resources for the children.

Mandarin program has started 2022

We’re excited to see our teacher, Jing Zhao, who has started teaching Mandarin again this year as part of Department of Education & Training, Victoria’s Early Childhood Language Program. This is our 3rd year.

Open Day 2021

Come along to our Open Day on Saturday 22 May from 10am to 1pm. You will meet our fabulous educators and parent committee members. We will answer any questions you may have and you will see our wonderful facility and learn about our amazing programs. We are looking forward to seeing you and we have goodie bags to hand out.

Community Fun Day 2019

Legend Park Preschool held a community day on 23 November to thank everyone who offered their time and effort supporting the school in 2019.

A tremendous turnout saw over 200 adults and children attending to enjoy the activities such as a bouncing castle, face painting, sausage sizzle and the general play equipment. Firefighters from the Metropolitan Fire Brigade dropped by from Station 28, giving children a chance to come up close to a fire truck and to interact with fire fighters.

Community leaders Neil Angus, MP, Cr Geoff Lake and Mayor Stuart James visited and mingled with parents.

Over $2,000 was raised through silent auctions and raffles held on the day. This money will be spent towards enhancing the kindergarten facilities.

Founded in 1975, the last six months have been momentous for the school which was slated for closure at the end of the 2019. The community responded to this announcement by rallying together, successfully lobbying Council to postpone the closure. The school has since seen a resurgence in enrolments thanks, in part, to the efforts of a highly motivated group of volunteers comprising past and current parents, and general community members.
